Pokemon-Fans, iss dir das Herz aus: In China verkauft der PC-Anbieter Razer ein Paar drahtlose Ohrhörer, die in einem Pokéball aufgeladen werden.
Der „Pickachu Wireless - Ohr-“ wurde vorgestellt für den chinesischen Markt im Rahmen einer Osterüberraschung am Montag. Die Verbraucher erhalten die Hammerhead True Wireless-Kopfhörer von Razer , die jedoch in einem Ladekoffer mit Pokemon-Thema verpackt sind.
Razer hat auch die Kopfhörer neu gestaltet, um sie den gelben Farben des Pikachu-Charakters anzupassen. Außerdem trägt jeder Ohrhörer an der Seite ein Pikachu-Symbol.
On top of all this, the replica Poké Ball will come with sound effects taken from the Pokemon TV show, including from Pikachu himself. For instance, when you turn on the charging case, it’ll say “Pika! Pi~Ka~Chu.” When the battery gets low, it’ll then warn you by saying “PikaPika! PikaPika!”
The same product will also light up like a real Poke ball when charging your earbuds. “This is definitely every Pokemon trainer’s must-have dream for wireless headphones,” Razer said in promoting the product.
The charging cases for today’s wireless earbuds all tend to look pretty generic. So Razer’s idea to spice up the design by using a beloved video game series is definitely welcomed. (On the downside, the charging case probably won't fit easily inside a pocket.)
Unfortunately, there’s no word on whether the Pokemon-themed earbuds will ever arrive in the US. But we’re crossing our fingers that they’ll land one day soon. In the meantime, the Pickachu wireless earbuds will officially go on sale in China for 849 yuan (US$120) this Thursday. Razer created the special model after creating a Pickachu-themed keyboard and mouse for the Chinese market last fall.
