[April 16 Update] BREAKING: Samsung Galaxy S10 camera ring alert light support is coming via a third-party app

For many users, the notification LED is one of the most important factors when buying a phone. A small hole than the one that can emit different vivid colors without sacrificing battery life is really a handy feature.
For the 10th anniversary of the Galaxy S smartphone, Samsung decided to completely omit the warning LED. A large proportion of Samsung fans did not appreciate the step.
Various unofficial sources later confirmed that Samsung will bring an alternative warning LED via a future software update. The rumored implementation will be nothing more than a ring of light around the front clip of the camera. This ring of light will change colors and lights depending on the alarm.
A Samsung Care Ambassador also mentioned the same thing on Samsung forums:
Although the Galaxy S10 series recently received its one-day update, it didn't offer such features.

Bassel Al - Hourani, a freelance Android developer, has developed Always On Edge - Edge Lighting - an app that provides Edge Lightning functionality.In the latest update (v3.7.0), the developer added support for the Galaxy S10 series and added their screenshots.
The app is described as "...A RIMIX between Edge Lighting & Notifications & AOD & Live Wallpaper & Edge Mask...". With the new changes, it now works effectively as a perfect alternative to the warning LED on the Galaxy S10.
Users must first grant the app the necessary permissions and then go through the configuration wizard. The user interface looks a bit dated and confusing at first glance, but the app actually works well.

The app's Edge Lightning functionality also works on the Galaxy S10.
Some users are concerned about AMOLED burn-in issues as possible consequences of using the app.

Because the pixels change color and vibrancy, the likelihood of burn-in is skewed. Also, the crop is likely separated from the screen.

The latest update of EdgeLighting+, a module of Samsung's Good Lock apps, enables camera lighting support.
Note that Edge Lighting's usual limitations still apply, meaning the feature only works when a specific app is trying to wake the screen.
