Even though the screen is compact, it doesn't detract from the picture quality. I can see my newborn daughter Heidi clearly. In fact, I got a little addicted to watching her sleep, which is why the eco sleep mode is a great feature. When your baby is calm Asleep, the parent unit will go into sleep mode and wake up again as soon as they make a sound.I can look at the screen, make sure she's sleeping and relax without having to disturb her.
As I am considering bringing Heidi to her older sister's room soon, I know this monitor will be very useful to keep a close eye on her. And this monitor will last a long time. When my kids grow up and play independently I can watch it in another room or even in the garden as it is extremely portable.
Always a plus when it comes to tech, the Samsung SEW-3030 Wireless Monitor is very easy to set up. At first it looked like it might be complicated considering how many features it has, but it's really just a matter of Insertion and switching on. It may take a while for the additional functions to work, but the instructions are very simple.
The two lullaby settings mean you can soothe your baby even when you're not in the room. I found it quite handy when Heidi woke from sleep but looked relaxed. I turned on the lullabies and it kept her happy and gave me 10 minutes more time - always good!

The sensors may not need to be set too high, otherwise the monitor will constantly emit whirring noises that can be quite annoying.
The 100m range is less than some other monitors, but I've found I've never needed to go further than that distance, so this certainly wasn't an issue for me.
It's expensive but worth it considering this is a product that could last for many years.
Eventually, you can get addicted to watching your kids, but the same goes for any video monitor.
