As mentioned, Samsung made the clipping notification ring available via an update to the Edge Lighting+ app, which is part of the Good Lock family of apps. However, Edge Lighting+ can also be used as a standalone app.
So, without further ado, let's see how to enable the snippet notification ring using the Edge Lighting+ app.
You must first download and install the latest version

Application.
Once the app is downloaded and installed on your smartphone, start
edge lighting+
from your application menu.
Now tap
Effect
that would be an option in the bottom bar.
You might see a series of edge lighting effects that you can scroll through horizontally.
Scroll to the bottom of these effects and then you will see an effect called
darkness
.Tap on it.
This way you can preview how the effect would look on your device.
Tap on
complete
to use this edge light effect.
How to adjust the edge lighting effect
Now that you've enabled the camera crop notification LED, there are a few more tweaks you can make to personalize the edge lighting effect to your liking.
change color
You can change the color of the edge lighting effect just by tapping
color
option in the bottom bar of the
edge lighting+
Application.
You have the opportunity to choose from different ones
preset colors
or you could tap this
multicolored circle
to choose from virtually any color on the color wheel.
There is also an option to use custom colors for each application.
Tap on
Freely selectable colour
and then tap
Manage Notifications
.
Select the apps you want to display in a custom color via the Edge Lighting effect.
After selection go back to
Freely selectable colour
Side.
Here you can see the colors associated with each application.
To choose your own color, just tap on the application and choose your preferred color.
Change the transparency
Tap on
transparency
in the bottom bar and use the
slider
to adjust the transparency of the edge lighting effect.
Change the duration
To change the duration of the edge light effect, tap
duration
in the bottom bar and you could select from
Short, medium and long
Duration Options.Tap
complete
if satisfied.
Voila, you can now enjoy the cool effect every time you receive a notification on your Galaxy S10 device.
If for some reason you don't like the Edge Lighting+ effect, there is a third-party application that provides the same effect. However, there is still a long way to go to get the Edge Lighting+ application working.

Launch the application, go through any warnings and continue with the setup wizard.
You have the option to choose from three different animation styles:

Tap on one of the animation styles and that's it.
You could now see the animation around the camera cutout of your Galaxy S10.
To turn off the effect, just turn off the Holey Light feature using the switch in the top right corner of the application.
